Dev Korea's tenth event, the OpenAI Codex Meetup, ran July 8 in Seoul with OpenAI and Hashed. 2,500+ RSVPs set a record, but only 250+ could attend:
- ICML was in town, so the room mixed the Seoul crowd with builders from abroad.
- Gabriel Chua opened with "Valuemaxxing with Codex" on getting real leverage from agents rather than autocomplete, followed by a fireside Q&A with Won Park.
- The GPT-5.6 family (Sol, Terra, Luna) hit GA the next day — attendees heard about it 24 hours early.
- Five community members then demoed what they had built with Codex.
