Fixing Minimax H3's blurry outputs: 4MP generations and Flux.2 refiner workflows
Patient_Ratio4177 · reddit · 2026-08-18
Following up on a ComfyUI workflow that turns H3 into a single-image editing model, the author tackles its blurry, texture-poor outputs:
Option 1: Go higher resolution. Community reports 4MP generation fixes distorted faces with detail comparable to regular models at 1024x1536. The author's tests on an RTX 5090 show no meaningful speed penalty (8-10s at 2MP or 4MP), but distant faces and blurry backgrounds persist — it's still a video model.
Option 2: Refine with another model. The author wants a refiner that is fast (2-4s), general, robust, and automatic — candidates include Qwen Image Edit, Flux.2 Klein 9b, and SeedVR — and shares their Flux.2 Klein workflow and INT8 quantization links, soliciting prompts, sampler, and color-correction advice.
