RSI Bench Launches to Quantify Recursive Self-Improvement in AI
dhruv2038 · x · 2026-08-18
RSI Benchmark has launched to measure the capability of Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI) in AI. The project highlights that AI is entering the loop of building AI, with the open question being whether models can autonomously build the next generation without human intervention. A prerequisite for this is mastering skills across all stages of frontier AI development. While still distant, the goal is now close enough to warrant measurement.
