Unitree Robotics released a teaser video for its new humanoid robot "Superman" ahead of its IPO, breaking two human world records:
- Vertical Jump: Reached 2 meters, surpassing the human standing jump record (1.8m).
- Sprint Speed: Achieved a peak speed of 12.66 m/s, exceeding Usain Bolt's 100m sprint peak (12.42 m/s).
Despite having leg length of just 0.85m, the robot overcomes human physiological limits through high-torque motor-driven joints. Unitree Technology is set to list on the Shanghai STAR Market on August 19.
