PenguinHarness, the new project by the LlamaFactory creator, is now available on GitHub. It is an automated Agent builder designed for desktop or server environments, aiming to let AI build AI.
Key features include:
- Efficiency: Claims a 100x speed increase over manual building with LangChain.
- Prompt-Based Creation: Generates full Agent applications (scaffolding, code, docs) from a single natural language prompt.
- Cost Optimization: Reduces inference costs significantly by minimizing toolsets (claimed to be 1/70th of Claude Code).
- Self-Evolution: Includes skills for agent creation, benchmark design, evaluation, and optimization, supporting automatic iteration and snapshot rollbacks.
