ComfyUI-MiniMax-H3-LongMedia: open-source node pack for long-form H3 video on consumer GPUs
Independent-Ear-3035 · reddit · 2026-08-18
A developer open-sourced ComfyUI-MiniMax-H3-LongMedia, a ComfyUI node pack aiming to make MiniMax H3 practical for long-form video on consumer GPUs. Highlights:
- Segmented long-form generation: splits long clips into multiple H3 segments with managed continuation state; hidden overlap serves as context for the next segment rather than being blended back. A MultiClip mode plans multiple shots in one pipeline.
- Joint AV state: video and audio are treated as one generation state, supporting H3 native audio, continuation, and lip-sync inside the same AV latent path (not post-processing).
- Two-stage refiner: built on KSampler Advanced trajectory splitting (e.g. 12 steps: main sampler 0→9, refiner 9→12) instead of replaying low-sigma steps after denoising.
- VRAM-aware execution: dynamic loading, streamed Sol Attention, MLP chunking, inter-block guards, segment offloading, adaptive memory policies — developed and tested mainly on a 16 GB GPU.
Current release v0.4.1; code on GitHub.
