A heavy week for AI security: after OpenAI paused a cyber-capable model, the capability shipped via two other paths. OpenAI released restricted GPT-5.6 Cyber, while Zhipu's GLM-5.3 marketed cyber capabilities with promised open weights. Other updates include Meta's open Muse Glimmer, Alibaba/DeepSeek releases, Anthropic's watermarks, and the SpaceX-Cursor acquisition. Security researchers also demonstrated replayable encrypted reasoning traces.
