Higgsfield raises $400M at $5.4B valuation; revenue jumped $20M to $700M in a year

AI video company Higgsfield closed a $400M Series B at a $5.4B valuation, up more than 4x from $1.3B eight months ago. DST Global led, with Goldman Sachs, Intel, Liberty Global and Tribe Capital participating.
The multiple looks wild until checked against revenue: annualized revenue just hit $700M, up from $20M a year ago — valuation is tracking growth, not running ahead. Timing is the real story: closest competitor Runway raised at a similar $5.3B in February, then pivoted toward world models, leaving Higgsfield's lane wide open. The cap table points to enterprise infrastructure and compute — being built as a backend, not just an app.
