MPA Strikes Deal with ByteDance to Protect IP in AI Video/Image Models

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) and ByteDance signed an MOU to establish a framework protecting film and TV IP across ByteDance's generative AI suite, including Seedance and Seedream. This follows a cease-and-desist letter sent by the MPA earlier this year regarding copyright issues.
