DeepSeek V4-Pro goes GA with configurable reasoning effort and Responses API

DeepSeek officially announced the GA release of DeepSeek-V4-Pro, available across app, web ("Expert Mode") and API. Highlights:
- Configurable reasoning effort for both V4-Pro and V4-Flash: low for simple tasks, high for daily agent workflows, max for complex tasks.
- Native OpenAI Responses API support, optimized for Codex with one-click setup.
- Model names unchanged.
API pricing is also updated with peak/off-peak rates — off-peak is 50% cheaper — effective 16:00 UTC, Aug 16, 2026.
