thione · x · 2026-08-18
Anthropic has added cross-session messaging to Claude Code, allowing Claude to list and message other sessions on the same machine or different machines. This feature enables agents to warn each other about breaking changes or share answers to blocked tasks automatically. The capability requires Claude Code v2.1.224 or later and is currently supported on macOS and Linux.
