Anthropic upgrades Chrome side panel to Claude Cowork for cross-device continuity

Anthropic has updated the Claude Chrome side panel to run as a Claude Cowork session. This allows conversations to be saved to history, enables skills and connectors within the browser, and supports continuity—tasks started in a browser tab can be finished on desktop, web, and mobile apps. The feature is available today for Max and Team plan users, with a rollout to Pro users expected in the coming weeks.
