Chrome gets a new VP of Product as his startup tool Relay.app shuts down

Chrome lead Parisa Tabriz announced several new hires joining the Google Chrome team, including @jebank, whom she first met about six years ago.
jebank announced he is (re)joining Google as VP of Product for Google Chrome, bringing several colleagues along. He said his whole career has been about building tools that help people get more done with AI without sacrificing personal creativity, and Chrome is the ideal place to bring those experiences to far more people — it's the primary productivity workspace for many.
Meanwhile, his workflow automation startup Relay.app is shutting down: new signups and upgrades closed on July 16; free users keep access until Aug 15, 2026 and paying customers until Sep 14, 2026, with subscriptions auto-cancelled, prorated refunds for annual customers, and data export available now.
