Grok bot beta earns praise from testers; enterprise interest arrives before sales motion is set
thedealdirector · x · 2026-08-17
A beta tester shared a week with Grok bot: it's like an easier-to-use OpenClaw/Hermes for non-technical users and 'good at getting shit done' — no visible thinking, on-the-spot connections to any service, and it quietly writes code and creates skills. His non-technical spouse (a GM) also loves it. He personally stays with Hermes to keep seeing the complicated details.
Separately, per discussions with the team, xAI is still figuring out the sales motion internally, though enterprise customers have already expressed interest.
