Agent2Agent Protocol joins AAIF to standardize cross-agent communication
rseroter · x · 2026-08-17
The Agent2Agent (A2A) open standard is joining the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF). A2A addresses the interoperability challenge between agents built on different frameworks by standardizing discovery, task delegation, and result exchange, removing the need for custom integration code. It is already in production at major tech companies like Huawei, WeChat, Google Cloud, and AWS, backed by over 150 organizations. This move places A2A alongside MCP and goose under AAIF's neutral governance for the open agentic stack.
