Local Object Detection with Qwen3.8-27B: Cross-Validating with RF-DETR

The author tested object detection using Qwen3.8-27B entirely locally. The workflow involved detecting objects in 10 varied photos and keeping only the bounding boxes agreed upon by a local RF-DETR model. No boxes were manually moved or fixed. Four favorite results were shared, including scenes of a beach, an airport, and birds.
