NVIDIA Invests $1.5B to Secure 8GW Ohio Campus Exclusively Leased by OpenAI

NVIDIA announced it is securing land, power, and shell capacity at the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Ohio to exclusively host NVIDIA AI compute. OpenAI has signed on as the customer for 8 IT-GW of capacity under a 20-year lease. NVIDIA is investing $1.5 billion immediately in SB Energy. The initial deployment supports 4.25 IT-GW with an option for an additional 3.75 IT-GW. The project aims to create tens of thousands of jobs and includes an $80 million community benefits fund.
