Google Gemini Passes 1B Monthly Users, Voice Interaction Dominates

Google announced that the Gemini app has surpassed 1 billion monthly users. Usage data reveals that 63% of users interact via voice, a figure that continues to rise.
In Gemini Live sessions, about one in five interactions involve live camera feeds or screen sharing. Additionally, 38% of school-related requests include attachments. Gemini generates over 150 million images daily, with iOS accounting for more than 100 million active users. Google also noted that Gemini can automate tasks across over 40 popular apps.
