Correcting Zvi's claim that "HF used open models because they on principle would not ask to use closed ones," HF's Lewis Tunstall stated this is false: HF uses closed models all the time, and in this particular case it was the guardrails that forced them to switch to GLM-5.2 (Zhipu). He reiterated that the issues also occurred during training on non-cyber tasks.
