emax · x · 2026-08-17
Sequoia Capital launched the Open Source Fellowship, offering 6-12 months of full living expenses to open source developers. No company, pitch deck, or equity is required; fellows retain 100% ownership of their work. The program aims to support projects with real-world adoption, selecting only 2-3 fellows annually. Past fellows include creators of FastAPI, Pydantic, and LMSYS Chatbot Arena.
