Developer jeremy-prt open-sourced bloub, a recreation of the x.ai Grok bot avatar animation: one filled black shape morphing between 14 states with two white shapes morphing independently as eyes — no animation library, measured frame-by-frame from the reference video.
Built with Vue 3, Vite, TypeScript and Tailwind 4. The left rail offers three views: Customise (8 body shapes, 12 colours, 16 rest expressions, persisted between visits), Animations (a small timeline editor to arrange states, set hold durations and save), and Settings (language: French/English). The repo has 132 stars.
