SayGM Takes on OpenRouter: TEE-Verified AI Gateway Claims 45% Lower Prices
markjeffrey · x · 2026-08-17
With OpenRouter reportedly valued at $7bn, SayGM offers an OpenAI-compatible AI gateway with drop-in access to Claude, GPT and Gemini, claiming average prices 45% cheaper — without sniffing your prompts.
Its core pitch is privacy: routing runs inside an Intel TDX enclave with hardware-signed attestation of the exact gateway image. For closed models, prompts are sealed in transit and only the chosen maker sees them; for open models, the model itself runs in the TEE so even the maker never sees the prompt.
Integration is simple — Cursor, Cline, Claude Code and Vercel AI SDK just point at one base URL. No subscription or credit-purchase fees, with promises of no silent price hikes, no surprise model cutoffs and no breaking changes.
