Affectionate_Bee6434 · reddit · 2026-08-17
The Delhi High Court declined to grant an interim injunction against OpenAI in the ANI copyright lawsuit. The court reasoned that AI has beneficial uses, LLM development depends on data availability, and requiring licenses from multiple sources would be economically unviable. An injunction now would harm AI growth in India and adversely affect public interest, including millions of ChatGPT users.
