新智元 · wechat · 2026-08-17
A survey by EpochAI and Ipsos reveals that 20% of US workers have delegated at least one task previously handled by colleagues or contractors to AI. The study indicates that AI is currently replacing specific tasks rather than entire jobs, with significant adoption in knowledge work like data analysis and software design. While AI improves efficiency for some tasks, about one-sixth become more time-consuming. Adoption rates are highly uneven across income and education levels.
