McKinsey: US data center investment up ~200% since late 2022

A new report by the McKinsey Global Institute reveals that US data center investment has surged approximately 200% since late 2022, driven primarily by AI. In contrast, productive investment outside of AI has remained flat. The report also highlights that China adds $4.4 trillion in net productive assets annually, four times that of the US.
