PawelHuryn · x · 2026-08-16
Grok Build Desktop, a free unofficial desktop app, has been released to run the Grok Build coding agent without needing a terminal or IDE. Available on macOS and Windows, it provides a standalone interface for project management and agent interaction. Coupled with the AFK Pilot web service, users can remotely connect and control the desktop agent from a phone or browser. The project is open-source on GitHub and supports both VS Code extension and standalone modes.
