Preparing for Claude Certified Architect? An open-source kit with 90 practice items
Alexioc · reddit · 2026-08-16
To prepare for the CCAR-F (Claude Certified Architect, Foundations) exam, the author built an open-source toolkit containing 30 task statements, 5 domains, 98 linked wiki notes, and 90 original practice items.
Core Feature: Diagnostic Report
Instead of simple scoring, the tool analyzes the "distractor families" of wrong answers and ranks them by rate (error frequency / availability of that option), revealing cognitive blind spots. For instance, it might show a tendency to solve configuration problems via prompts.
Technical Highlights:
- Every option (including correct ones) includes an explanation of why it is right or wrong.
- Provides percent-correct scores by domain (e.g., identifying a weak Domain 2) and lists missed task statements with specific fix commands.
- Deliberately avoids outputting scaled scores to prevent false confidence and focus on weak areas.
Disclaimer:
Unofficial tool containing no actual exam content. All items are original, written from published objectives. The author is also an exam candidate.
