heypearlai · x · 2026-08-16
DeepSeek is increasing API prices for its V4-Flash and V4-Pro models by up to 1,100% starting August 16, shifting from a flat rate to a peak/off-peak billing structure. Peak hours (UTC 1-4 and 6-10) will cost double the off-peak rates. V4-Flash output tokens will rise to $1.32/million at peak, and V4-Pro to $3.96/million. Input token prices are also increasing. Despite the hike, costs remain lower than Fable 5.
