o3-mini generates exam questions on par with high-stakes tests

The research shows that even the "obsolete" o3-mini model, when used in an agentic loop, produces questions with psychometric properties comparable to those in high-stakes standardized tests. This represents one of the largest field studies on AI-generated questions to date.
