Meta & ETH Zürich Introduce EgoExoMoCap for Distributed Motion Capture
rsasaki0109 · x · 2026-08-16
Meta Reality Labs and ETH Zürich present EgoExoMoCap (ECCV 2026 Oral), a distributed ego-exo human motion capture system. By combining egocentric and exocentric views from two people wearing smart glasses, it estimates full-body 3D motion using head/wrist tracking and DINOv3-based visual features. It eliminates the need for bulky multi-camera setups or mocap suits and handles occlusions effectively.
