Opinion: Avoid memory systems for coding; code is the single source of truth
victormustar · x · 2026-08-16
The author supports the views that code is truth, Bash is sufficient, and tools should be context-efficient. He personally avoids using any memory systems (even simple MD files) for coding, arguing they get outdated and might steer the model in the wrong direction over hundreds of sessions, which is scary.
