DeepSeek raises prices by up to 1,100%, introducing time-based billing

While other AI labs race to cut costs, DeepSeek announced a price hike of up to 1,100%, starting today. They also introduced time-based pricing, where peak hours (UTC 1-4am and 6-10am) are significantly more expensive, while off-peak hours are half price. Despite the increase, it remains cheaper than Fable 5 at $50 per million tokens.
