A Reddit user shares their experience developing a game called 'Fatherlode' using Claude Code. Inspired by the 2004 Flash game 'Motherlode', players control a POD to dig, collect ores, and upgrade. In three weeks, they implemented a tutorial, save system, skill tree, 250 achievements, 25 ores, 30 treasures, various obstacles, 2000 meters of depth, NPC dialogue, and building mechanics. They even paid for Claude Max for more usage and developed an interest in coding.
