The author released a fork of Ultimate SD Upscale (USDU) Guider nodes with MiniMax H3 support for ComfyUI, addressing compatibility issues with H3's native implementation.
- Tool: ComfyUIUltimateSDUpscaleGuiderH3 is now open source.
- Performance: On a 4080S (16GB VRAM), initial generation (1152x640px) takes 5 mins; upscaling to 2560x1472px takes 20 mins.
- Quality: Feels like the best possible output from H3 currently, capable of "fixing" bad low-res generations while maintaining H3 native quality.
- Caveat: Denoise parameter must be controlled (max 0.2 recommended) to balance quality improvements and visible tiling artifacts.
