Motif 3 launches with SuperBPE tokenizer, boosting inference for Korean and code
alisawuffles · x · 2026-08-16
Motif has officially released Motif 3 Base and the NeMo-RL fine-tuned Motif 3 model. Developed with support from Korea's Ministry of Science and trained on NVIDIA B200 GPUs, this marks their entry into the frontier LLM race. A key technical highlight is the use of a SuperBPE tokenizer, which significantly improves encoding efficiency—and thus inference speed—in Korean, math, and code. In collaboration with NVIDIA, an NVFP4 version has also been released. All models are available on Hugging Face.
