The author has released a ComfyUI-based custom node, MiniMax H3 Motion Director, designed to tackle continuity and management issues in long video generation.
Project highlights:
- Frankenstein-style architecture: Combines the strengths of multiple open-source projects, including AIMixer Director, H3 Motion Context, and H3 Face Refine, with extensive modifications.
- Multi-segment management: Treats the video as a project timeline and supports multi-segment generation, with each segment getting its own independent Prompt and assets.
- Continuity control: Ensures consistency of characters, motion, and color across segments through mechanisms like Motion Context, Context Frames, and audio continuation.
- Efficient workflow: Allows selectively re-running only the failed clips instead of regenerating the entire video.
- Openness: Supports plugging in external SAMPLER and SIGMAS without locking down the sampling chain.
The node is now available on the Comfy Registry and open-sourced under the GPL-3.0 license.
