EricBuess · x · 2026-08-16
Anthropic released an FAQ detailing its text watermarking plans. The method is designed to comply with the EU AI Act, having no practical impact on output quality or content. It adds no hidden characters or extra tokens, incurs no additional cost, and is indistinguishable to readers. Watermarks cannot be traced to specific individuals or organizations.
