Grok-4.5 returns 'Unexpected server error' on OpenCode Zen gateway
jpgomezv · ghdev · 2026-08-16
- Issue: The model grok-4.5 fails with a "Unexpected server error" when used via the opencode-go (OpenCode Zen) provider, while other models like deepseek-v4-pro work fine.
- Reproduction: Occurs when selecting grok-4.5 in the TUI or running opencode run --model grok-4.5 "hi". The request produces no tokens and fails.
- Error Details: The gateway returns an UnknownError with a server-side ref (e.g., errf119cb82). It is not an auth or rate-limit error.
- Environment: OpenCode 1.18.18, Windows 11, PowerShell 7.
