Open source MCP Failure Lab helps reproduce agent connection failures
No-Reporter6150 · reddit · 2026-08-16
The author released an open-source project called MCP Failure Lab to help developers reproduce failure scenarios encountered when building MCP clients and servers.
Currently, the tool covers delays, timeouts, request cancellations, dropped connections, and other failure scenarios that are difficult to reproduce consistently. The project is in an early stage, and contributions are welcome.
