Bezos on AI bubble: Like fiber optics, winners build on the ruins

Bezos compared the current datacenter build-out to the fiber optic boom during the internet bubble. While the companies laying the fiber went bust and equity went to zero, the infrastructure remained and now powers Netflix and the cloud economy. Bubbles move money from investors to the public by overbuilding infrastructure, leaving behind assets that benefit society. AI datacenters will follow this path.
