ByteDance Releases Trace Anything for 4D Video Representation via Trajectory Fields
tom_doerr · x · 2026-08-16
ByteDance's Seed team has released Trace Anything, a novel method for 4D video representation using trajectory fields. It maps each pixel across video frames to a continuous, parametric 3D trajectory. With a single forward pass, the model efficiently estimates these fields for any video or image set. The official PyTorch implementation and an interactive 3D viewer are now open-sourced on GitHub, and the paper has been accepted to ICLR 2026.
