find-skills lets Claude Code discover and install agent skills on its own
dr_cintas · x · 2026-08-16
Vercel Labs' open-source skills ecosystem (29k-star repo) ships find-skills, a small package that plugs into Claude Code: describe your task in plain English and it scans the whole open agent skills ecosystem, finds fitting skills and installs them for you — no more manual hunting.
Per the repo docs, it kicks in when you ask 'how do I do X', 'is there a skill that...', or want to extend your agent with design, testing or deployment capabilities; under the hood it relies on the Skills CLI (npx skills) as the package manager.
