Google floats many TPU RFPs, takes more wafers directly to TSMC each generation

Analyst Ben Bajarin says Google has a lot of TPU RFPs out, so it's safe to assume they're talking to everyone.
The constant trend he flags: with every TPU generation, Google takes more wafers directly to TSMC, leaving much lower margins for IP partners such as design-service vendors — a sign of Google's continuing vertical integration in self-designed AI chips.
