QualCoder MCP: Open-Source Tool for Conversational Qualitative Data Analysis with Claude

A developer released QualCoder MCP, an open-source tool connecting Claude to QualCoder qualitative data analysis software via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows users to search, analyze, and code interview text through natural language conversation, with AI suggesting codes for human approval. The tool is pip-installable and aims to provide an alternative to expensive commercial APIs, currently in Alpha.
