Contrary to price cuts by OpenAI and Google in August, DeepSeek has raised prices citing capacity constraints. Driven by overwhelming demand for the V4 Flash model, output pricing for V4 Flash jumped from $0.28 to $1.32 at peak hours, and V4 Pro from $0.87 to $3.96 starting August 16.
