Open-source humanoid achieves zero-shot sim-to-real, works on first try with new engine

The open-source Asimov humanoid project demonstrated zero-shot transfer capabilities: a policy trained entirely in simulation was deployed directly to the real robot without intermediate tuning. After switching to IsaacLab (a different physics engine) this week, the team kept the same configurations and succeeded on the first try. This validates the stability of the hardware communication and firmware, ensuring a close match between simulation and reality.
