Morpheus Humanoid: Realistic Face with Self-Modeling Drive

Morpheus is a human-scale animatronic robot head project. Hardware-wise, it uses platinum-silicone skin over a 3D-printed skull, driven by 33 servos split into 29 rigid-linkage actuators for main regions (eyebrows, eyes, mouth, neck) and 4 tendon actuators for subtle micro-expressions (nose, cheeks). Software-wise, a self-modeling network learns motor-to-face mapping using MediaPipe (468 landmarks) and uses backpropagation for precise control.
