Twitter algorithm update: 14-day semantic recall for videos, reply ranking threshold raised to 30k followers

Twitter's open-sourced algorithm has been updated with three key changes:
- Normal videos now have a 14-day SID semantic recall window, potentially giving long-term high-quality videos a second distribution chance.
- Follows and bidirectional relationships are now included in the recommendation model, possibly weighting stable return visits.
- The reply ranking threshold has been raised from 15k to 30k followers; above that, replies are sorted by high propagation, otherwise they go through spam detection.
The author also summarized six things creators should do: create original content worth retweeting, avoid using first-post hooks, prioritize reads/replies/quotes/follows, space out posts, focus on a niche, and avoid engagement bait.
