Twitter algorithm update: 14-day semantic recall for videos, reply ranking threshold raised to 30k followers

Twitter's open-sourced algorithm has been updated with three key changes:

Normal videos now have a 14-day SID semantic recall window, potentially giving long-term high-quality videos a second distribution chance.
Follows and bidirectional relationships are now included in the recommendation model, possibly weighting stable return visits.
The reply ranking threshold has been raised from 15k to 30k followers; above that, replies are sorted by high propagation, otherwise they go through spam detection.

The author also summarized six things creators should do: create original content worth retweeting, avoid using first-post hooks, prioritize reads/replies/quotes/follows, space out posts, focus on a niche, and avoid engagement bait.
