DeepSeek released its Harness, accompanied by a paper titled 'A Programming Paradigm for Spatiotemporal Composability' instead of a typical tech blog. The paper formalizes the programming paradigm behind Cordis, covering effects, coeffects, context transformation, and inverse. The Harness design philosophy is 'everything is a plugin.' One of the authors, Cui Tianyi, spent nine years at Jane Street, influencing the formal approach.
