Rep. Anna Paulina Luna's office inadvertently pasted an AI chatbot's response into a defense bill, prompting her to say 'most staff use it.' A Washington Post investigation found that a large share of congressional legislation is drafted with the help of Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLMs, which are also used for sorting constituent mail and penning speeches.
